Credit cards in LifeAxis track more than just what you owe. Each card stores the details you need to manage it properly: your credit limit, the interest rate, when any promotional deal ends, and how you intend to repay it.
What you can track
- Balance and credit limit: current balance and total credit limit, with a visual utilisation bar showing the percentage used
- APR: the annual percentage rate, stored for reference and future interest calculations
- Deal expiry date: if you have a 0% purchase, balance transfer, or other promotional rate, record when it ends so you are not caught by the revert rate
- Repayment approach: choose full balance, minimum payment, or a fixed monthly amount — this records your intention, not an automated payment
- Card type: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or other
Utilisation indicator
The credit utilisation bar on each card shows what percentage of your limit is in use. High utilisation (typically above 30%) can affect your credit score, so keeping an eye on this across all your cards is useful.
Staleness indicator
If you have not updated a credit card balance recently, an amber "updated X ago" label appears on the dashboard card. This is a prompt to refresh the balance so your net worth figure stays accurate.
Deal expiry alerts
LifeAxis will surface a suggestion on your Wealth Dashboard when a promotional deal is approaching its end date, so you have time to pay down the balance or find a new deal before the standard rate applies.
