Consistency is what turns a habit into a routine. LifeAxis makes your streak visible so you have a reason to keep going — and the heatmap shows you the full picture of how consistent you have been over time.
Streaks
Every habit card shows two streak figures:
- Current streak: how many consecutive days (or completions, for habits with a weekly schedule) you have completed the habit without a break
- Longest streak: your best ever run for this habit
A streak resets if you miss a day on a daily habit, or fall below the weekly target on a weekly one.
Streak at risk alert
If you have a daily habit and have not completed it by the end of the day, LifeAxis surfaces a suggestion to remind you. The alert disappears once you mark the habit complete.
Streak milestones
When a streak reaches a significant milestone — 7 days, 30 days, 100 days — LifeAxis surfaces a suggestion to acknowledge it. These milestones appear in your Needs Attention strip.
Heatmap calendar
The heatmap shows a full year of completion history in a grid, one square per day, in the style of a GitHub contribution graph. Darker squares mean more completions on that day (relevant for habits with a quantity target). Empty squares are days with no completion.
The heatmap makes it easy to spot patterns: which days of the week you tend to skip, whether you are more consistent in certain months, or how a recent run compares to earlier in the year.
Backdating
If you forgot to log a completion, you can record it for any past date from the habit detail view. Backdated completions update the heatmap and are counted toward streaks if they fall within the consecutive run.
