Monthly Plan gives you a structured view of each month's finances before the month begins. Enter your income, see your committed bills pulled in automatically, allocate the rest, and know your surplus or shortfall before any money moves.
How it works
Each month has its own plan. Plans are independent so you can look back at any previous month and see how you planned it.
- Income: enter your expected income for the month — salary, freelance, rental income, or any other source
- Committed outgoings: bills due in the month are drawn from your Bills data automatically
- Remaining surplus: income minus committed outgoings, updated as you fill in the plan
- Draft and finalised: plans start as a draft. When you are happy with it, mark it as finalised to lock it in
Navigating between months
Use the arrows on the Monthly Plan section to move between months. You can view any past month's plan or create a plan for next month.
On the Wealth Dashboard
The Monthly Plan section shows the current month's plan status (Draft or Finalised) and your remaining surplus or shortfall. A red indicator means you are in shortfall; green means you have money left to allocate.
