The Plan Dashboard is your daily execution view. It shows what needs doing today, what is overdue, and how your week is shaping up — bringing together tasks, projects, time tracking, and your calendar into one focused surface.
A note on the three dashboards: LifeAxis is split into three focused views — Me (what you own), Life (what you want to do), and Plan (what you need to do). This article covers the Plan Dashboard.
At a glance — three panels
Three panels are always visible at the top of the page:
| Panel | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Weekly Time Budget | Your hours for the week broken down by category (Work, Personal, Fitness, Hobby, Sleep) against a 112-hour waking budget. Shows completed vs planned time per category, and a per-project breakdown. Use the arrows to view previous or future weeks. Click to open the full weekly planner. |
| Today | A timeline of your day — scheduled tasks and Google Calendar events in time order. You can drag tasks to different time slots and create new tasks directly from empty slots. |
| Upcoming Events | Google Calendar events for the next 14 days, grouped by day. Use the sync button to pull the latest from Google. |
Your sections
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Weekly Planner | Your week at a glance — tasks and events laid out in a time grid. Click empty slots to create tasks, drag to reschedule, and sync Strava activities. Opens fullscreen for more space. |
| Tasks | Today's tasks and inbox tasks in a single list, with overdue tasks flagged separately in red. Tick tasks off inline, mark the most important as your Frog 🐸, or use Auto Schedule to find the next available time slot. |
| Projects | All active projects with RAG status (red = overdue tasks, amber = due today, green = all clear), completion percentage, and task counts. Stalled projects (no activity in 14+ days) are also flagged. |
Customising your view
The Plan Dashboard shares the same customisation options as the other dashboards. Use the settings menu (top right) to adjust:
- Edit mode — Reveals drag handles so you can reorder sections
- Show / hide sections — Toggle individual sections on or off in edit mode
- Collapse / expand — Each section has its own collapse control, with a collapse-all option in the settings menu
- Reset to default — Restores the original section order and visibility
Needs Attention
The Needs Attention popover (flag icon, top right) surfaces urgent items from your Plan data — overdue tasks and inbox items — without needing to scroll through each section.
