For anything that needs to be done on a regular schedule — weekly reviews, monthly admin, annual renewals — a recurring task returns to your list automatically when it is due.
Recurrence options
| Option | Example |
|---|---|
| Daily | Log daily note every day |
| Weekly | Weekly review every Monday |
| Monthly | Pay credit card on the 1st of each month |
| Yearly | Renew road tax on the same date each year |
| Custom | Every two weeks, every third Monday, last day of the month |
How it works
When you mark a recurring task as complete, LifeAxis creates the next occurrence automatically with the next due date already set. The completed instance is recorded in your history so you can see that it was done.
If you delete a recurring task, you can choose to delete just that instance or all future occurrences.
Viewing recurring tasks
Recurring tasks appear in all the usual task views — table, calendar, agenda, and planner — at the date they are due. The calendar view is particularly useful for recurring tasks as you can see the pattern of upcoming occurrences across a month.
Changing the schedule
You can edit the recurrence rule at any time from the task. Changes apply to all future occurrences. The completed history of past instances is not affected.
