LifeAxis keeps an employment timeline for each household member. Whether you want a complete record for your own reference or need employment details for insurance and financial applications, work history keeps it in one place.
What is recorded per role
Each employment record stores:
- Job title and company name
- Company website: useful for quick reference
- Employment type: full-time, part-time, contract, self-employed, or freelance
- Industry: the sector the role is in
- Start date and end date
- Current role flag: marks which role is the active employment
Timeline view
All employment records for a person are displayed in chronological order as a timeline, showing the full career history at a glance. Current employment is highlighted at the top.
Why it matters
Employment information stored in LifeAxis is used in other areas of the product:
- Insurance quote preparation: employment status and job title are required fields on most motor insurance comparison sites. LifeAxis derives these from the current work history record automatically, so you do not need to recall them mid-quote.
Coming soon
- Salary and compensation tracking: record salary, payment frequency, bonus, and a salary change history per role
- Pension and benefits: record pension contributions (employer and employee percentage), scheme name, provider, and employment benefits
- Holiday tracking: record annual leave allowance, log days taken, and see remaining days at a glance
