When you add a property as a rental, LifeAxis unlocks additional fields for the information that landlords and tenants need to manage.
Rental details
- Monthly rent: the current monthly rent amount
- Rental start date: when the tenancy began
Tenant and landlord information
For properties you let out, store your tenant's name and contact details on the property record so they are always accessible.
For properties you rent (where you are the tenant), store your landlord's name and contact details.
Guarantor tracking
If the tenancy has a guarantor, record their name and contact details against the property. This is useful if a tenancy dispute arises or you need to contact the guarantor directly.
Security deposit
Record the deposit details so they are not lost:
- Deposit amount: the total held
- Protection scheme: the scheme the deposit is registered with (required by law for assured shorthold tenancies in England and Wales)
- Scheme reference: the reference number for the deposit registration
Occupancy status
Track the current occupancy status of the property — occupied, vacant, or other — so your portfolio view reflects the real state of each property.
Coming soon
LifeAxis is building a move-in and move-out workflow to guide you through recording tenant changes: new tenancy dates, deposit handling, and key handover — all logged against the property record.
