Every property has a Documents tab where you can attach files from your Google Drive. Documents stay linked to the property so they are easy to find when you need them.
What to store
Common documents for a property include:
- Title deeds and proof of ownership
- EPC certificate (Energy Performance Certificate)
- Survey reports from purchase or subsequent surveys
- Tenancy agreements for rental properties
- Building regulations certificates for any works carried out
- Insurance schedules and correspondence
- Planning permissions and drawings
How it works
Documents are stored in your connected Google Drive, not uploaded directly to LifeAxis. When you attach a document, you link to a file that already exists in your Drive (or upload a new one). LifeAxis stores the reference so you can open it directly from the property record.
This keeps your documents in a system you already control, with the full storage and sharing features of Google Drive, while surfacing them in the right context within LifeAxis.
Finding a document
Open any property and go to the Documents tab to see all files linked to that property. Files show the document type icon, filename, and upload date.
