Documents keeps all your important files linked to the right place in LifeAxis. Rather than hunting through Google Drive or email for a document, you find it from the entity it belongs to — the vehicle, property, insurance policy, or person it relates to.
How it works
Documents are stored in your connected Google Drive. LifeAxis does not duplicate the file — it stores a reference to it so you can open it directly from within the app. Your files stay in a system you already control, with Google Drive's full storage and sharing features, surfaced in the right context within LifeAxis.
What you can store
Any file type is supported. Common examples include:
- Vehicles: V5C logbook, MOT certificates, insurance schedules, finance agreements
- Properties: title deeds, EPC certificates, survey reports, tenancy agreements, building regulations certificates
- Insurance: policy schedules, renewal confirmations, claim correspondence
- People: driving licences, passports, medical letters
- General: contracts, warranties, receipts for high-value items
On the Wealth Dashboard
The Documents section shows your four most recently uploaded files with a file type icon, filename, upload date, file size, and type badge. Tap any document to open it, or tap the section header to go to your full documents list.
Getting started
- 1Connect your Google Drive from the account settings if you have not already
- 2Open any entity (a vehicle, property, or insurance policy) and go to its Documents tab
