Bills in LifeAxis can be linked to the vehicle, property, insurance policy, mortgage deal, or project they belong to. A bill still lives in the Bills section. Linking it means it also appears in the correct place elsewhere in the app without duplicating any data.
What you can link to
- Vehicle: insurance premiums, finance payments, breakdown cover, road tax, and any other vehicle-specific costs appear in that vehicle's Bills tab
- Property: mortgage payments, utilities, council tax, ground rent, and service charges appear in the property's Bills tab
- Insurance policy: the insurance premium bill links directly to the corresponding policy record
- Mortgage deal: if a property has multiple mortgage deals, a bill can be linked to a specific deal rather than just the property
- Project: recurring costs can be linked to work, personal, or hobby projects, including fitness-focused projects
How to link a bill
- 1Open the bill you want to link
- 2Scroll to the Entity links section
- 3Select the vehicle, property, insurance policy, mortgage deal, or project
- 4Save. The bill will now appear in that entity's Bills tab.
Why project linking matters
Project links make recurring costs easier to reason about when they are purpose-driven.
- Group ongoing hobby spend like club memberships, classes, or tools under a single project
- Track fitness project costs such as gym subscriptions, coaching plans, and training platforms
- Keep one complete bills list while still seeing focused spend context in project views
Unlinking
You can remove a link at any time by clearing the entity field on the bill. The bill itself is not affected and continues to appear in your main Bills section.
