Price Change History

Track every time a bill amount changes, with the old and new amounts, the effective date, and optional notes.

When a bill amount changes, such as a price increase from your energy supplier, a new insurance premium at renewal, or a renegotiated broadband deal, LifeAxis records the change so you have a full history of what you have paid over time.

What is stored

Each price change entry records:

  • Previous amount
  • New amount
  • Effective date (when the new amount starts)
  • Notes: optional, useful for recording the reason or the outcome of a renewal negotiation

How price changes are tracked

When you edit a bill and update the amount, LifeAxis automatically creates a price history entry. You can also add entries manually to record historical changes or add context to a past change.

The amount shown on the bill always reflects what you are paying now. The price history shows how that has changed over time.

Why it matters

Price history lets you see whether your bills are creeping up. Combined with the effective date of each change, it is easy to spot which suppliers have increased prices and when, which is useful context when a renewal or renegotiation comes around.
