Service history captures every formal scheduled service your vehicle has had: annual services, interim services, and manufacturer-scheduled services. This is separate from day-to-day repairs and maintenance, which are tracked in the Maintenance tab.
What you can record
Each service entry stores:
- Date and mileage at the time of service
- Service type: full, interim, or major
- Provider (garage or dealership)
- Cost
- Notes
Why it matters
A complete service history increases your vehicle's resale value and makes it easy to see when the next service is due. LifeAxis uses your service history to calculate your vehicle's maintenance health as part of the overall vehicle health score.
When you enter a mileage figure for a service, LifeAxis automatically creates a matching mileage record to keep your odometer history accurate.
Getting started
Add your most recent service first, then work backwards to build up the full history. The more complete the record, the more accurate your vehicle health score will be.
