Linking your insurance policy to a vehicle connects your cover details directly to the vehicle record, so you can see at a glance whether you are covered and when your renewal is due.
What you will see
The Insurance tab on a vehicle shows:
- Provider and cover type
- Policy start and end date
- No claims bonus years
- Renewal status: Active, Due Soon, Expired, or Transferred
- A direct link to your full policy record
If your renewal is coming up, LifeAxis will surface a reminder on your dashboard before the expiry date.
If no policy is linked
If you have not linked an insurance policy, the tab shows a warning so you know cover is not recorded. You can either link an existing policy from your Insurance section or add a new one.
Getting a quote
The Insurance tab includes a link to the Insurance Quote Preparation view, which gathers everything a comparison site will ask for before you start.
